Mutational Alchemy is a modern hybrid branch of Hermetic Alchemy that introduces a system of Internal (or Spiritual) Alchemy conforming to a highest possible standard of mathematical logic. It achieves this by defining what we think of as the basic compound elements at the vibrational level, following a well established criterion passed down to us via the geomantic mathematics of ancient China. In classical Chinese cosmology every definable thing originates as polarized energetic flow-types, or fluxes, achieving infinite complexity as a consequence of how these vibrational fluxes are arranged in vertical stacks. Theoretically there is no upper limit on how high we can stack these flux values, but the convention was to stop at six-line stacks referred to as hexagrams (hex=six + gram=line). Beginning with a simple line/broken-line notation representing these flux values, we arrive at numerically coherent stacks (or sets) of vibrational structures which can then be assigned equivalent elemental properties. Since Mutational Alchemy adheres to a different elemental reasoning than was employed in antiquity, it amounts to a completely original alchemical thesis geared to the identification of praeter-human stars.
While we only have an allegorical accounting as to how this cosmological ordering system was originally devised, we do know that there were ultimately two predominant models of special interest to the Chinese sages of antiquity: the binary system which consisted of (passive) Yin and (active) Yang fluxes, and the ternary system which added a third (neutral) Jen flux value into the mix. If this begins to sound a little like modern particle physics, that is probably because that is essentially what it is. The Chinese sages were light years ahead of the West in their understanding of energy and they were searching for a universal governing dynamic of some kind that could predict all naturally occurring cause-effect phenomena without resorting to notions of Deity either as the root cause or general outcome of existence. As such, it classes as the oldest (if not the most sophisticated) theoretical physics on Earth. It is very important that we understand this if we are to understand what these presumed binary/ternary oracles really are. While it is possible to use these two great mathematical engines as divinatory devices, their most valuable use to us in the modern era has more to do with defining things such as they are than predicting what things will happen.
Mutational Alchemy is not a simple rehashing of Chinese philosophy. There is nothing useful to be gained from any sort of armchair revisionism asserting what the Chinese sages intended to say or do. In all, their original thesis stretches back into pre-dynastic China and there are numerous stops and starts in route over a span of thousands of years. However choppy it may be, that historical record defines a culture and its views and should never be idly tampered with. The underscoring physics itself is a human inheritance and we are necessarily free to apply its properties wherever they seem best suited to any given task. The task that Mutational Alchemy has taken on is to try to make some sense of the notion of praeter-human stars: to determine (in the first instance) how we might define them and (in the second instance) how we might simulate them in some way that facilitates productive transformational gravitation.
From the very beginning of this investigation there were certain precedents laid in that drew my attention to the I Ching (aka Yijing) as a possible key to the biostellar thesis outlined in the Abrahadabra doctrine. The use of the term biostellar is apt in this instance since we are referencing a very special kind of star that in some way serves as a physical embodiment of higher consciousness itself. In order for us to consent to it being physical as we understand the term, it has to be connected to us in some demonstrable anatomical way. The most plausible explanation for this would be that it is somehow embedded in our genetic constitutions – a hidden code within a code awaiting the proper triggering mechanism to become either partially or fully activated. It happens that this *code within a code* idea exactly parallels the relationship between the binary and ternary hexagrams of antiquity, with the binaries being the most immediately accessible to us.
In his ground-breaking book The I Ching & the Genetic Code, Martin Schonberger performs a great service in detailing the astonishing mathematical parallel at play here. The I Ching and the Genetic Code are built upon the exact same mathematical matrix! His book includes a foreword by Lama Anagarika Govinda, author of the Inner Structure of the I Ching and a scholar/artist I have always admired. Soon after, a second book emerged on this topic called the DNA and the I Ching (The Tao of Life) by Johnson F Yan. Yan is an expert geneticist born and raised in China who was able to correct a few key errors Schonberger had made in his book. And of course there was Aleister Crowley and his bold attempt at fusing the I Ching with the qabbalistic Tree of Life. Not long after encountering these resources Derek Walters published a work entitled The Tai Hsuan Ching which details the lesser-known ternaries system from ancient China. These and perhaps a dozen or so lesser references set me on a course that eventually took off on its own as I delved deeper and deeper into hidden mysteries surrounding this notion of praeter-human stars and their underlying physics. To date I am able to answer both parts of my original inquiry plus a great deal more than this. But where one door closes another one opens and a work of this magnitude ought to have many people laboring on it at all times. That kind of collective networking can make all the difference when the stakes are very high.
It is beyond the scope of this mission statement to outline the tremendous wealth of technical proofs that have brought me to the point of enormous confidence in this immediate model of praeter-human stars. I can report that I have been researching it diligently for roughly 40 years at this writing and have subjected it to as much public scrutiny as might be useful across this span of time. Its most central features have remained intact from their inception, which is a remarkable thing in itself for such a far-reaching thesis. Its extended applications regarding Tree of Life or similar syncretic fusions have consistently evolved, becoming ever more acute over time. It is reasonable to assert at this pass that there is unlikely to emerge a more efficient means of simulating the Body of Light at the anatomical level, despite the fact that there remain certain finishing issues yet to be perfectly reconciled. This is true of any meditational discipline owing to the complexities of projecting a perfect wholeness in an overwhelmingly polluted and hostile work environment. It is actually much less an issue with Mutational Alchemy than with most other things, in large part due to the astonishing strength and stunning acceleration it possesses quite naturally. Or in other words, it fights back with significantly greater force and fire than anything I have ever studied or allied myself with to date.
So the Abrahadabra Institute’s mission with respect to Mutational Alchemy is to attempt to establish a comprehensive coursework for those who are prepared to embrace it and thus facilitate the possibility of an unparalleled transformational success where without it there is very little chance of that ever actually occurring. That is a completely impersonal assessment of the situation as I find it. That is how important a matter this underlying physics really is, whether to spiritual alchemy as an elected methodology or to the great work of transmuting lead into gold in general. There is never an adequate substitution for falsifiable truth when the matter turns to achieving something technical and/or real.
